Jeffrey Ellison, PhD
Dr. Jeffrey Ellison is a licensed psychologist who has practiced psychological assessment for over a decade. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from East Tennessee State University, with additional training in health psychology and psychological assessment.
His practice focuses on evaluation: ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, and complex diagnostic questions — including cases where prior testing was inconclusive or incomplete. He works with children, adolescents, and adults, and regularly evaluates adults seeking a first-time diagnosis later in life.
Every evaluation follows the same approach: a thorough clinical interview, standardized testing selected for the question being asked, and a written report that explains the findings in plain language with specific, practical recommendations.
Dr. Ellison is licensed in North Carolina and South Carolina and holds PsyPact certification, which allows telehealth evaluations for clients in most U.S. states. He serves on the Gaston County Board of Health and the Catawba Mental Health Board.
